Because of severe weather in Boston, school was closed today so I got a day off! I met up with some friends for some sledding in Boston Common as well as drinks/snacks and finally dinner out. Love snow days!
I still managed to get up at 7:00am despite the chance to sleep in (yay me!) and got a lot of stuff done before heading out to play. Not only did I organize all of my to-be-tried printed recipes into a new expandable file, I updated my new moleskin recipe book and my recipe binder with the yummy recipes that I have been making lately (and tossed the not so yummy ones). I also read the first intro chapter of Real Happiness and quite a bit of my book club book as well as did some pilates. Though the sledding was much more a workout!
My (almost) Vegan Meal Plan:
Breakfast: Oatmeal with mango and cinnamon; teeccino with soy cream
Lunch: Boca chickn pattie with tomato, ketchup and mayo (scraped out the last of it so time for vegannaise) on whole wheat bread; leftover mexican corn salad; water
Snack: Hot chocolate laced with lots of liquor; a beer; french fries
Dinner: Veggie burger w/fries; Glass of Pinot Noir
Lots of fries on the menu today…and alcohol. What? I was enjoying my unexpected holiday!
I haven’t tried the Boca chickn patties yet. Are they good?
They are ok but not great…I’m going to try something else next time.
